The great combination of garlic and ginger with other herbs and spices make this aromatic trout fish even more delicious! This filling and yummy dish can be served either with steamed rice or noodles.
- 2 trout fillets (skinless, large slices)
- 1 garlic clove (crushed)
- 1cm piece of ginger (grated)
- 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoon mirin, sake or dry sherry
- ½ lemon (juiced)
Place the trout fillets on a lightly oiled plate.
Mix the garlic, ginger, mirin and lemon juice together and pour it over the fish.
Place it in a steamer, cover and cook for 5 minutes until the fish flakes easily.
Scatter with coriander and serve with steamed rice or noodles.
